*What You Will Do *

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the success of our data systems and architecture, helping to design and implement scalable pipelines, schemas, and APIs that power our business. You will leverage modern data engineering practices, your technical expertise, and strategic thinking to drive results across the organization. You will evaluate our current setup, including Supabase, and recommend solutions that align with our needs for scalability and performance.

You will play a critical role in architecting our public-facing API for partners, ensuring the data flows smoothly across multiple sources, and designing the infrastructure for future growth. Working collaboratively with the team, you will identify opportunities to improve our data structure, tooling, and hosting strategies. You will report to the COO and act as a trusted consultant in shaping the technical future of our data systems.

You will execute, but also act as an advisor, helping the team make informed decisions about tooling, hosting, and scalability.

About You

You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, designing scalable pipelines, and architecting robust data systems.
You excel at solving complex challenges and have expertise with tools like Supabase, PostgreSQL, and modern data platforms.
You are skilled in API development for secure and scalable partner-facing interfaces.
You can navigate trade-offs between self-hosted and cloud solutions for performance and cost.
You are a strong communicator and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
You are results-driven, adaptable to remote work, and deliver in flexible setups.
You’re okay working across time zones with a global team.
