Genesys is hiring a professional for a Sales role in the Enterprise Sales Team for Retail Industry customers.
At Genesys, our Account Executives are the catalyst behind the growth and success of the company and carry responsibility for all sales opportunities across the Enterprise business segments. As Account Executive you will learn how to become a consultative sales professional, how to take ownership for dedicated accounts, positioning the full Genesys solution portfolio, developing and managing a sales pipeline, securing net-new business and driving revenue growth from within the existing customer base. In co-working with a dedicated Account Manager as well as Sales Coach you will learn from experienced Genesys Employees as part of a verticalized Sales Team.
The Account Executive’s main goal is to achieve an annual sales target by converting as many opportunities into won business as possible. Once an opportunity has been closed, the Account Team´s role is to engage with the appropriate internal resources to help manage the initial phases of post-sales support and ensure customer success and continuously growth within the Account.
What we look for and expect from the right individual is:
Bringing in, developing and maintaining relationships with customers/prospects in Retail industry
Being part of numerous complex and consultative sales engagements
Selling complex software solutions in dedicated industries
Jointly developing account and opportunity plans in a motivated team as an Account Executive
Identifying customer/project demands and mapping to the Genesys portfolio
Being a team player and a leader of virtual teams, able to orchestrate and win complex sales cycles
Taking revenue responsibility and carrying of a sales quota
Establishing a reliable network between partners, transformational partners, independent consultants, and technology partners of Genesys to raise the ability to execute and to position Genesys in top management decided projects
Reviewing accounts/projects and establishing a framework to create the right strategy to maximize the value of deals and win deals.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or similar education
5+ years professional and verticalized experience with demonstratable success in verticalized sales, preferably with strong SaaS and retail/prof. services industry background
Maximum demands on the quality of your work as well as a high degree of sales and customer orientation
Committed, proactive, team-oriented, and stress-tested
Self-assured appearance and excellence presentation skills – especially suited for senior/top management level.
Fluent in German and English
Strong success and problem solving orientation
Willingness to travel frequently and as required
