About Coaxial Collective
Coaxial Collective is a venture studio concept focused on supporting and monetizing YouTube creators, particularly in the DIY/Home Improvement niche. It aims to provide a comprehensive suite of services including video operations, advertising and brand deals, and product launches to help creators scale their businesses. By consolidating advertising inventory and negotiating higher CPMs, Coaxial seeks to increase revenue for creators while also incubating and launching consumer packaged goods (CPG) products aligned with their audiences.
What You'll Do
Creative Workflow and Strategic Project Management
- Oversee and optimize creative workflows, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and within established timelines.
- Manage resource allocation and project timelines for multiple creator accounts.
- Implement and refine effective processes to improve efficiency and output quality.
- Coordinate with freelancers and contractors to supplement in-house capabilities as needed.
Communication and Collaboration
- Facilitate communication between creative teams, marketing, and venture studio team.
- Collaborate with creators, brand partners, and internal teams to ensure high-quality content delivery.
- Serve as a liaison between creative teams and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing updates.
Quality Control and Performance Monitoring
- Monitor project statuses and create reports for leadership, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Review digital assets for accuracy prior to review by cross-functional teams.
- Ensure adherence to brand standards and creative deadlines across all projects.
Team Leadership and Support
- Provide guidance and support to creative teams throughout the entire production process. Contractual hires needing management may include video editors, graphic designers, and animators.
- Foster a positive and collaborative environment that encourages creativity and efficiency.
- Identify and implement opportunities for team growth and skill development.
Who You Are
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide creative teams.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project planning skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and foster collaborative relationships.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of creative processes and how to support them operationally.
- Adaptable problem-solver who can thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- 5+ years of experience in video editing, creative operations, or project management within the digital content industry
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and other video editing software
- Proven track record of managing and mentoring video editing teams, improving workflow efficiency, and delivering high-quality content
- Strong understanding of YouTube content creation, optimization strategies, and the broader creator economy
- Experience in developing and implementing post-production workflows for multi-channel content distribution
- Familiarity with DIY/Home Improvement content creation is a significant plus
- Demonstrated ability to balance creative vision with technical execution in video editing
- Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools used in video production environments
- Understanding of content syndication strategies and thumbnail optimization techniques for maximizing video performance
- Ability to adapt to evolving video trends and implement new editing techniques to enhance content quality
