Solving our climate crisis requires bold action, and with more than $20M from top-tier investors, Cloverly is on a mission to make it happen.
We've made big strides already—our platform is the most advanced digital infrastructure for the carbon markets, enabling climate organizations to scale their operations and their impact. As a team of experienced founders, builders, and sustainability enthusiasts, we know this is just the beginning. That's where you come in.
What you'll be doing
As a BDR at Cloverly, you'll be the driving force behind our Catalyst lead generation efforts, building a strong pipeline of opportunities for our sales team. You'll work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to identify and engage potential customers, introducing them to the value Cloverly can bring to scaling their climate impact.
Your day-to-day will look like:
- Identify and Qualify Leads: Research and target potential customers through various channels, including outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up. Identify key decision-makers and assess their needs to ensure alignment with Cloverly's offerings.
- Conduct Outreach: Execute a high volume of outreach through email, phone calls, and social media to engage prospects and generate interest. Tailor messaging to resonate with their unique business goals and challenges.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team: Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth lead handoff, providing detailed context and insights gathered during initial conversations. Participate in pipeline reviews and strategy sessions to optimise outreach efforts.
- Nurture Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with prospects over time through consistent, value-driven communication. Share relevant content, updates, and resources to keep Cloverly top of mind.
- Track and Report Activities: Utilize CRM tools to track progress, document interactions, and provide regular updates on pipeline metrics. Analyze outreach performance to identify areas for improvement and ensure efficiency in lead generation efforts.
- Stay Informed: Keep up to date on climate tech trends, industry challenges, and Cloverly's product developments to engage prospects with credibility and expertise. Leverage market insights to refine your approach and identify new opportunities.
- Contribute to Team Success: Actively participate in team meetings, share best practices, and collaborate on new strategies to achieve collective goals. Help refine and optimise the BDR process to continuously improve outcomes.
- Activity Targets: Meet and exceed weekly activity targets, including tasks such as calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach, to ensure consistent meeting booking and conversion of leads to sales-qualified opportunities (SQOs).
