As an Account Executive, you will be a key member of the team leading the growth & expansion of our business in Latin America. What will I be doing?
- Drive the acquisition of new clients and manage the full sales cycle (prospecting to closing) in the LATAM market.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, consistently prospecting to meet monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
- Provide accurate forecasts and maintain visibility on revenue performance.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and evolving processes.
- Develop and deliver tailored product demos to address each client’s unique challenges and needs.
- Take a consultative approach to sales, identifying and addressing customer pain points while positioning our solutions as trusted partners.
- Focus on exceeding sales targets and demonstrating competitiveness.
- Engage in team development and mentoring.
- Represent the voice of the customer to cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product).
- Contribute to the growth of the global Enterprise business by driving best practices and projects to up-level the team.
- Adapt quickly to changes in market conditions, customer needs, and product updates.
- Use creative problem-solving to overcome obstacles and close deals.
- Leverage sales tools and CRM software to track leads, progress, and activities.
- Negotiate contract terms to close deals while maintaining healthy margins.
- Exhibit grit and determination to succeed, overcoming challenges and driving results.
- Willingness to travel within the country to support client needs and business objectives.
What skills do I need?
- 4+ years of experience as an Account Executive.
- 2+ years of SaaS experience selling similar products.
- Must be proficient in Portuguese; fluency in Spanish is also preferred.
- Strong sales instincts with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding quota.
- Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure clients receive maximum value from Intercom's products and services.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and active accounts.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable and energized by problem-solving in a fast-moving organization, handling both inbound and outbound opportunities across a variety of industries and company sizes.
- Proven ability to close new business in a competitive landscape.
- Exhibits a growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and ambition.

*Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
The OTE range for candidates within the San Francisco Bay Area is [$232,360-$270,040]. Actual pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All regular employees may also be eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
