Come join our world-class team as a Senior Software Engineer to build the search and discovery services for data cloud to help our customers find the right data for their enterprise applications.
AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL :
Design, build, and maintain infrastructure powering sophisticated browse and search recommendation surfaces.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, other engineering teams, data science organizations, business groups, to drive end to end solutions.
Work closely with our frontend engineers to build highly performant backend services that support a cutting edge interactive UI.
Contribute to improving our engineering processes, tooling, and standards.
Debug production issues across multiple services and improve reliability/stability.
OUR IDEAL SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL HAVE:
7+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting discovery systems in production.
Proven track record of solving search quality and ranking problems
Extremely strong fundamental computer science skills.
Deep multi-faceted appreciation in building end-to-end customer facing products.
Strong knowledge of Java.
Knowledge of search and recommendation systems
Experience driving company initiatives towards customer satisfaction.
Experience working with cross teams and product managers.
BS/MS in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.
