We work hard to help Celonis build and maintain trust of our employees, customers & partners.The Role:As Data Privacy & Ethics Manager, you will advise all Celonis departments with regards to privacy requirements and maintain our Privacy Information Management System. You will identify best practice approaches (incl. privacy features of our products) and guide their implementation. You will furthermore work on the creation and roll-out of policies and procedures related to Responsible AI and other Ethics & Compliance subjects. This position is crucial for the success of the Celonis trust program!
The work you’ll do:
Provide sound and practical advice on privacy matters to colleagues within Legal as well as to other departments such as information security, procurement, human resources, product, sales and marketing
Be a subject matter expert for Data Processing Agreements and support negotiations with customers and suppliers;
Maintain our Records of Processing Activities, perform Data Privacy Risk and Data Transfer Impact Assessments as well as mitigate identified risks
Draft, update and implement internal and external privacy policies, privacy notices, guidelines, FAQs whitepapers, as well as similar documents for other relevant ethics & compliance topics
Handle privacy-related customer requests and support within regulatory inquiries, investigations
Monitor and analyze relevant privacy laws and regulations, as well as technological developments, threat vectors, and evolving industry standards
Conduct Responsible AI assessment to ensure safe and ethical implementation of AI projects in compliance with the EU AI Act (and similar regulations and standards)
Being an important contributor on the ISO27701 certification and conduct privacy trainings for other employees
The qualifications you need:
3 plus years of significant experience in working on data privacy in a company
An academic degree in law, business law, business administration or a related field, privacy-related certifications, e.g. iapp CIPP/EU, are of benefit
Excellent oral and writing skills in English (German language is a plus)
Profound knowledge of GDPR and basis knowledge of other important privacy regulations (such as CCPA, HIPAA) as well as ISO27701 requirements
Ability to provide pragmatic, creative, collaborative and solution-oriented support
A strong business sense and a keen interest in working in a fast-moving environment, dealing with different projects/topics in parallel, and knowing how to prioritize them
