Airtable is on a mission to democratize software creation. Our platform is loved by people at more than 500,000 organizations because they can design and build powerful applications (without knowing how to code) that perfectly fit their needs and workflows. Within these organizations “creators” build applications on Airtable’s platform that are used by thousands of their colleagues on a weekly basis to collaborate across business-critical workflows.
As an AI Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of AI capabilities across Airtable's platform. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to identify, develop, and implement AI features that help users more confidently and efficiently work with existing Airtable apps and bases. You’ll also work closely with mid-market and enterprise customers to define key repeatable use cases and workflows where AI adds outsized value.
What you'll do
- Drive end-user adoption of AI across Airtable's customer base by shipping AI features that help users more confidently and efficiently work with existing Airtable apps and bases (e.g. some recent initiatives: an AI formula builder, an AI Assistant, AI base Q&A)
- Partner closely with mid-market and enterprise customers to identify key AI use cases that drive significant and differentiated value.
- Define a 6-12 month roadmap that balances horizontal capabilities with vertical use cases.
- Work with marketing and sales to refine positioning, messaging, and sales enablement for AI use cases and capabilities.
- Synthesize learnings from staying close to what’s happening in the field and collaborate with PM, PMM, finance, and GTM teams to refine AI pricing and packaging.
- Stay at the forefront of what’s possible with AI to identify opportunities to apply advancements to model capabilities to Airtable’s product
- Help evangelize your team's work through social media, events, and other public channels to drive awareness and build a strong AI brand at Airtable.
- Develop and track metrics that measure the success and impact of AI capabilities and hold yourself and the team accountable for driving them.
Who you are
- 6+ years of experience as a product manager. Familiarity with Airtable, low code, productivity tools, or SaaS preferred.
- You’ve ideally built AI product before, but at minimum you’re deeply interested in and current with model capabilities.
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to make data and customer informed decisions quickly with imperfect information.
- You have a proven track record of shaping and delivering large, ambiguous 0->1 features or products.
- You have experience working directly with enterprise customers and partnering closely with sales and marketing teams.
- You have strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate a compelling product vision and strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You have a track record of taking ownership, showing initiative, and delivering results.
