Position: Collections Specialist EMEA
We are hiring for a self-driven and very competent Collection Specialist to join our team, taking ownership managing customer portfolios in EMEA and North America.
Success in this role depends on your ability to display strong communication, customer focus and negotiation skills to achieve the best possible Collections targets.
As a Collection professional at our company, your main responsibilities will be to contact clients, collect payments timely, foster good relationship with your AP contacts, closely work with cross functional teams and excel on your performance.
The languages you write and fluently speak are Arabic (native speaker) and English with German, French and/or Spanish to be considered a bonus.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Monitor accounts on a continued basis;
- Identify and prioritize managing outstanding balances to result timely clearing;
- Contact clients and discuss their overdue payments;
- Keeping accurate records and reporting on collection activities;
- Play an important role in getting customer’s billing queries addressed and resolved;
- Assist with payments postings and refunds;
- Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress;
- Be a solid contributor to highlight collections process improvements;
- Involve in testing new systems a/o process improvements.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Proven experience as a Collection Specialist for at least 5 years;
- Strong computer literacy;
- Excellent knowledge of Quote-to-Cash processes;
- Knowledge of various collections management techniques;
- Comfortable speaking with clients and discuss their overdue payments;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Familiar using ERP systems... like Workday;
- Very comfortable working with targets;
- Knowledge of local collection laws and regulations;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills;
- A bachelor’s degree, however a Master degree is preferred;
- Respecting customers' privacy and treating them with empathy.
