As the Orbit VE Director, you will be responsible to oversee our new grad program (Orbit) along with the global Orbit management team. This role is responsible for hiring, onboarding and developing VE’s and leaders alike. You will be joining the Global Center of Excellence (CoE) which is an international, diverse, and dynamic team at the core of Celonis Value Engineering.
The Role:Orbit is a dedicated onboarding program that takes early career professionals to field-ready Value Engineers in less than two years. This cohort style program develops expertise across the Celonis value journey with a focus on learning the technology, sales cycle, business processes & value realization, renewal process, and customer engagement best practices. It is based in our Raleigh, NYC and Madrid offices.

The work you’ll do:
Responsible for the overall Orbit program structure, development & budget
Develop new leaders & individuals through hands-on engagement, continuous feedback, and active mentorship
Recruit the next-generation of Celonis Value Engineers, while setting a high-standard for candidate excellence
Develop world-class talent with a balanced skill set that includes quantitative, technical, business, process and sales acumen
Effectively allocate Celonis resources to deliver on company sales, renewals, value, and adoption targets
Communicate success and risks proactively within the organization
The qualifications you need:
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead by example, including being on the front line with your teams, hands-on in all aspects and a role model for the organization. Experience building a graduate program is a plus.
Domain Expertise: Business domain expertise, such as in Finance or Supply Chain as well as experience in strategic transformation initiatives (e.g. Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation) and ability to build a compelling value roadmap for the customer.
Analytical Acumen: Experience with guiding customer’s teams throughout their analytical journey, demonstrating hands-on the power and proven ability to accelerate value realization by building dashboards, Apps, Automation.
Project Management: Plan and manage project scope, expectations and timelines. Leverage partners from the Celonis Ecosystem wherever possible.
Executive Stakeholder Management: Experience in preparing and communicating results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.
Value Selling Experience: Demonstrate experience with a value selling methodology alongside the customer journey: including discovery, qualification, proof activities, value realization that all demonstrate the potential value of Celonis EMS.
Sales & Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate ability to qualify all VE engagements, do discovery with customers directly, steer/allocate resources efficiently, and champion our value selling methodology with our customers.
The base salary range below is for the role in the specified location, based on a Full Time Schedule. Total compensation package will include base salary + bonus/commission + equity + benefits (health, dental, life, 401k, and paid time off).
