The GTM Operations & Planning Manager is a critical strategic role leveraging data & cross-functional teams to maximize GTM productivity with available resources & expenses. This role leverages data, cross-functional relationships, & expert project management skills to efficiently & effectively deliver on planning timelines with quality deliverables. This person partners closely with Ops leads, Finance, & HR to drive accountability on the headcount/capacity plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- GTM Planning: Lead the streamlined & collaborative cross-functional planning process with transparency, good stakeholder engagement, & on-time, quality deliverables.
- Act as the thought partner and connective tissue between all GTM teams to create aligned quota, capacity, headcount and demand gen plans that effectively tie execution to company strategy.
- Quantifies impact of strategic bets & advises GTM leadership team on key levers to affect ARR
- Guide cross functional teams on key deliverables & provide recommendations on how best to approach those deliverables
- Lead planning communications and cadences to ensure we’re staying on track and proactively solving for roadblocks
- Provide teams with the tools needed to plan capacity with future org structures, quotas, & target scenarios
- Proactively identify efficiency gains to streamline planning process & eliminate duplicative efforts across teams
Capacity & Headcount Processes: Identify & bridge any gaps between Ops, Sales/CS, Finance, & Recruiting teams to ensure we hire effectively to meet our capacity plans.
- Center of Excellence for GTM headcount data & processes between for GTM leaders, Ops BPs, Finance, HR & TA
- Own and leverage capacity model to understand performance & provide recommendations to GTM LT
- Run forecasting process with stakeholders to drive accountability on the plan
Compensation: Partner with GTM leadership to design & implement compensation plans for the team that boost productivity.
- Provide analysis & recommendations on compensation strategy to improve productivity
- Program manage compensation process & fiscal planning including attainment accuracy, exception process, & correction of underlying data
- Act as the single point of contact for finance & GTM on compensation related questions/issues
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in go-to-market strategy, sales operations, or project management.
- Proven track record in successfully managing complex projects across multiple teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
- Knowledge/experience with Salesforce.com, and other sales efficiency and forecasting tools
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with senior stakeholders.
- Experience with budgeting and financial planning for projects.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a high-growth or technology-focused environment.
- Familiarity with product development life cycles and launch processes.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
