As the Sales Planning & Insights Senior Manager, you will be responsible for building a Center of Excellence for sales & post-sales metrics and KPI reporting, distilling and synthesizing actionable insights to inform business strategy, supporting key leadership operating rhythms (weekly forecasting, pipeline generation inspection), and delivering key aspects of annual Go-To-Market planning.
What you'll do
- Build a center of excellence (COE) around metrics and KPI reporting, and delivery of actionable insights for the Sales and Post-Sales organizations.
- Drive in-depth business performance analysis and narrative development for Executive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Drive forecast management excellence to ensure sustained, predictable growth.
- Facilitate inspection of pipe generation efforts at every level of the Sales organization by delivering clear targets and instrumentation, and ensuring an effective leadership operating rhythm.
- Orchestrate many aspects of annual Go-To-Market planning.
- Support the business and executive team on ad-hoc strategic questions and initiatives.
- Lead a team of two individual contributors.
Who you are
- You have 7+ years of prior experience, including 4+ years in Strategy / Business Operations within a high growth company, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Private Equity, or Venture Capital.
- You are highly data-driven and analytical. You thrive on bringing actionability, rigor and scale to internal processes and business reporting.
- You understand drivers of business and sales performance, can diagnose common business challenges, propose domain-relevant solutions, and can draw on your knowledge of industry best practices.
- You are a strategic problem solver who can simplify complex problems and recommend relevant and actionable solutions.
- You have a proven track record of execution. You hold yourself and others accountable for delivering against commitments and driving results.
- You are an excellent communicator in all forms (verbal, visual and written) who can facilitate key discussions and drive leadership and cross-functional alignment.
- You are willing to “roll up your sleeves” to drive projects and impact directly.
