What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a Staff DevOps Engineer to join the Release Engineering team at SentinelOne.
This team is at the critical intersection between the unique compliance requirements of a regulated environment and establishing a consistent software experience for users and developers within commercial environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including security, compliance, operations, and engineering, to lead the implementation of best practices for cloud infrastructure and continuous delivery to reduce the time from commercial to government deployments.
You will help transform our software and processes to deploy efficiently in a government-regulated environment. You will leverage industry best practices to deliver a scalable and compliant path to production and operate as part of a team that maintains existing services and processes.

What will you do?
- Build highly scalable, reliable internal CI/CD processes for our federally regulated environment.
- Work closely with the development teams to create automation strategies for deployment, self-testing, and alerting. You will also help improve the efficiency of our deployment framework procedures.
- Drive continuous software delivery, resolve incidents run incident post-mortems, provide feedback on engineering architecture decisions, and automate repetitive operational tasks.
Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that address specific operational, compliance, and pipeline issues.
- Ensure that all aspects of our infrastructure meet and maintain FedRAMP compliance standards.
- Stay abreast of the latest FedRAMP guidelines and integrate them into our operational practices.
What skills and knowledge should you bring?
- 8+ years of experience in running SRE/DevOps/Infrastructure Engineering for SaaS products.
- 3+ years of production experience with a container orchestration system
- 3+ years of experience with Continuous Delivery
- 7+ years experience in running operations at a large scale.
- Preferred experience in implementing and supporting the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) and other applicable government standards, policies, and regulations (e.g., NIST 800-137, NIST 800-53, 800-37, and 800-39).
- Multi-cloud experience in AWS/GCP (expertise within AWS is preferred).
- Familiarity with GitOps and frameworks
- Familiar with IaaC and tools.
- Familiarity with deployment strategies like blue-green, rolling deploys, canary deploys, and best practices around deployment automation
- Demonstrated professional experience working in at least 1 main language (Python/Go/Ruby/etc).
- Familiarity with SecOps and Compliance processes is desired.
