What You’ll Do:
- Design Scalable Microservices: Architect and implement backend services in Python, optimized for AWS, focusing on performance, security, and scalability.
- Leverage AWS Technologies: Build and maintain backend systems using AWS services like Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, and more, ensuring a cloud-native approach to design.
- Optimize System Performance: Analyze, monitor, and improve backend services to ensure high availability, reliability, and low-latency performance for our distributed systems.
- Collaborate on Architectural Decisions: Contribute to key architectural decisions, working closely with engineering leadership to define the future of our AWS-powered backend platform.
- Mentor and Support: Share your expertise with team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Who You Are:
- Backend Expertise: 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on building robust and scalable backend systems.
- AWS Proficiency: Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and solutions is a must.
- Strong Python Skills: Proficiency in Python for developing microservices and backend tools.
- Distributed Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with designing and scaling complex distributed systems.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: A track record of diagnosing and resolving complex technical challenges with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Collaborative Communicator: Able to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven expertise in backend development using AWS services in a distributed environment.
- Experience designing APIs and integrating backend services with modern cloud platforms.
- A deep understanding of backend best practices, including performance optimization and cloud-native design.
