The Role Overview:
The University & Student Programs Manager will lead Prompt’s efforts to connect academia with real-world clinical practice through the Student Placement Initiative and Prompt as a Complementary Learning Tool Initiative. This pivotal role focuses on forging and nurturing relationships with universities, clinics, and students to create seamless placement opportunities and integrate cutting-edge technology into education. You will shape the next generation of rehab professionals while championing innovative solutions that bridge technology, education, and patient care. Key Responsibilities
Lead the Student Placement Initiative
Oversee and streamline the operations of Prompt’s Student Placement Initiative, expanding the network of participating clinics on Exxat One.
Act as the main point of contact between universities, clinics, and students, ensuring seamless placement processes and fostering productive partnerships.
Provide resources and guidance to clinics for effective management of student placement requests and of clinical affiliation experiences.
Foster strong partnerships and relationships with universities, positioning Prompt’s network of clinics as the premier choice for clinical education placements
Promote Prompt as a Learning Tool
Showcase PromptEMR as a transformative educational tool for university programs and pro bono clinics.
Collaborate with universities to integrate PromptEMR into their curriculum and Pro Bono clinics, enhancing student learning experiences.
Confidently demo and train university stakeholders on the benefits and functionality of Prompt’s innovative technology.
Build Strategic Relationships
Cultivate strong partnerships between universities, clinical sites, and Prompt to align on mutual goals and improve clinical education experiences.
Attend industry events and conferences to identify opportunities, stay ahead of trends, and represent Prompt.
Drive Initiatives with Measurable Impact
Self-generate leads and manage inbound inquiries, growing Prompt’s university and clinic partnerships.
Track and report key metrics related to the Student Placement Initiative and the integration of PromptEMR as a learning tool.
Ensure timely and accurate implementation of Prompt solutions for university partners.
Required Qualifications:
Proven Experience: Demonstrated success working with universities, academic institutions, or clinical education programs in physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), or speech-language pathology (SLP).
Educational Expertise: Strong understanding of student placement processes in clinical settings. Experience as an RCSCE, SCEE, or DCE is a plus.
Tech-Savvy: Ability to confidently demo and train stakeholders on platforms like Exxat One and PromptEMR.
Outstanding Communication Skills: Comfortable engaging diverse audiences, including students, professors, clinicians, and administrators.
Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to foster partnerships and align stakeholders around shared goals.
Self-Starter: Highly motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects with minimal oversight.
Sales/Business Development Experience: A plus but not required.
