Job Description
Job Title: Manager, Finance Shared Services - Order To Cash
Department & Team: Finance SSC - OTC Shared Services
Reports to: Lorraine S. Ortega
Location: Manila, Philippines
Position Summary:
The manager will oversee the day to day operations of the Order to Cash team, directly supporting and reporting to the Sr. Manager, in executing its deliverables aligned to Genesys and CAO goals and FSSC strategy.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Deliver top-notch services to Finance Shared Service Center stakeholders with professionalism, integrity and forward thinking.
- Lead and manage the customer billing function for Genesys, including review of order information such as Purchase Order that are pre-requisite to ensure invoices will be created, delivered, and collected on time, and dispute management process ensuring invoice disputes will be resolved based on the agreed turnaround time.
- Proactively interact, collaborate, and build harmonious working relationship cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, Order Management, Collections, Master Data and Customer Service to ensure accurate processing and invoicing of orders for annual maintenance renewal, professional services, education, cloud, and other invoices type for assigned accounts, as well as to resolve OTC-related issues and optimize workflows.
- Initiate and support OTC related projects, system implementations, and process enhancements to drive operational excellence and scalability.
- Work closely with OTC process owners in defining guard rails and process matrix to be operated within the Shared services
- Ensure SOX Controls are working effectively as designed. Provide assistance to both internal and external audits.
- Manage team performance reviews and mentors team members towards career growth and development in alignment with the Individual Development Plan (IDP).
- Drive the success of designated FSSC initiatives and other global projects. Identify, initiate, and oversee high-complexity process improvement projects.
- Champion the FSSC framework, fostering an environment where excellence is celebrated and is conducive to change and adaptability.
- Recruit, retain, and develop talents to align with evolving business needs and individual career goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely updates of SOP, overseeing process and workflow documentation. Develop and maintain OTC work instructions/desk procedures for knowledge retention and operational management; metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Support internal, external, and regulatory audit requirements, ensuring timely completion of annual statutory audits and related tasks.
- Lead with empathy, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:
- BS Accountancy, CPA preferred but not required
- With 7-10 years of experience in Order to Cash processes, with a minimum of 6 years in leadership position.
- Comprehensive experience across Order to Cash processes including, Order Management/Billing, Accounts Receivable Operations and Dispute Management.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Salesforce, NetSuite, Esker, Workday Financials and MS Office.
- Project leadership experience.
- Strong accuracy and reliability in financial accounting.
- BPO/SSC work experience preferred.
- Ability to work and deliver within tight deadlines, with willingness to work extended hours.
- Proactive in improving processes to enhance efficiency or strengthen control.
- Proficient in ERP systems, preferably Workday Financials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
