Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Regional Vice President of Sales to lead our Southeast US sales organization. A visionary who excels in building and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of strategic agility and tenacity.

As the Regional Vice President of Sales for the Southeast US, you will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping the sales strategy for the region, guiding your team to secure high-value contracts, and influencing Nexthink’s overall growth trajectory. You’ll have significant ownership over team development, regional sales initiatives, and the tools that drive sales performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead & Develop Sales Team: Manage, coach, and guide a team of 5-6 Sales professionals, focusing on acquiring new customers and renewing contracts with existing accounts, particularly within large, complex organizations.
- Strategic Account Leadership: Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing, focusing on selling Nexthink’s SaaS solutions to senior decision-makers in large organizations across the Southeast region.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Own the regional sales strategy and execution, ensuring your team develops strong pipelines, meets quota targets, and delivers results by winning key deals with major customers.
- Talent Acquisition & Development: Source, recruit, and onboard top talent for the team. Ensure swift integration of new hires, providing ongoing coaching and development to help them achieve their full potential.
- Collaboration Across Functions: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Sales Operations, to align on sales strategies, drive solution delivery, and ensure excellent customer outcomes.
- Customer & Partner Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and partners as the trusted advisor for Nexthink’s solutions.
- Regional Strategy & Insights: Provide strategic insights into the regional market, aligning with broader company goals. Continuously assess and improve sales processes and tools to enhance team effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Sales Leadership: At least 5 years of experience leading a successful sales team, with a proven ability to close complex deals and manage high-value customer accounts in the SaaS or technology space.
- SaaS & Industry Expertise: Over 10 years of experience selling SaaS solutions, with deep expertise in Digital Employee Experience (DEX), Application Performance Management (APM), IT Service Management (ITSM), or Customer Experience (CX), particularly within large organizations.
- Track Record of Success: Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and driving growth, particularly in navigating long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments.
- Remote Team Management: Proven ability to manage and lead remote, geographically dispersed teams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and collaboration across the region.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to seamlessly collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales Operations) and external partners (resellers, managed service providers) to drive sales success.
- Resilience & Problem-Solving: Strong ability to navigate complex sales challenges and effectively lead teams through adversity, staying focused on strategic goals and driving results.
- Customer-Centric Sales: Ability to build deep, trusting relationships with senior executives and decision-makers, understanding their business goals and positioning Nexthink as a key partner in their success.
- Sales Excellence: A results-driven mindset with an open, transparent, and entrepreneurial approach to sales. Strong focus on delivering value to customers and meeting their needs with sophisticated solutions.
