Your role
We’re looking for a seasoned Technical Program Manager for our Mobile Client Applications. In this role, you’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, QA and teams across the company to ensure the successful execution of mobile projects. You’ll leverage your technical expertise and program management skills to drive alignment, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality mobile experiences that delight our users and their customers.
What you’ll do
- Define, plan, and execute large-scale programs for Dialpad’s mobile client applications, ensuring alignment with company goals and product roadmaps.
- Establish clear goals, milestones, and success criteria for all mobile-related initiatives.
- Drive program delivery, identifying and mitigating risks, and resolving roadblocks across a dozen or more development teams.
- Partner cross-functionally with leadership and peers across Engineering, Product, and Design to define requirements, scope, and priorities.
- Ensure alignment of all stakeholders through timely effective communication at the appropriate level of abstraction.
- Drive decision-making processes and facilitate trade-offs when needed to balance scope, quality, and timelines.
- Improve tools and processes to track progress and enhance team productivity.
- Deliver regular updates to senior leadership outlining project status, risks, and recommendations.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across teams.
Skills you’ll bring
- 7+ years of experience in technical program management, preferably with a focus on mobile client applications and/or software as a service.
- Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven track record of turning product requirements into measurable achievable plans; managing scope, dependencies, schedule, and risks.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment at all levels of an organization.
- Excellent communications skills, especially in regards to technical tradeoffs, specifications, APIs, data models, and feature design.
- Flexible in working with teams across multiple time zones.
- Deep understanding of the software product development lifecycle.
- Preferably a solid understanding of mobile development and the Android + iOS platforms.
