We are currently seeking aSales Development Representativeto join our sales team based inMadridto cover the regions of DACH. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world’s most dynamic and fastest-growing sector.
Performance Objectives
- Representing our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding of them.
- Proactively seeking new leads and business opportunities in the market.
- Using Salesforce (CRM, sales engagement platform), cold calling, and emailing to generate new sales opportunities.
- Setting up meetings or calls between potential customers and sales executives.
- Managing and maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects and engaging sales executives for next steps.
- Identifying best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook.
- Identifying prospects’ needs and suggesting appropriate products/services.
- Reporting to the sales manager with weekly and monthly results and refining and/or updating the local market situation.
- Market analysis (news, studies, reports) to update priorities and help with the POD strategy.
- Marketing activities (exploring beneficial events, associations, etc.) to help boost awareness and find quality leads to manage a healthy pipeline.
Competitive Candidate Profile
- C2 in English and German.
- Prior experience is strongly desired, but not required.
- Knowledge of DACH business culture is desired.
- Cross-cultural communication and high ethics code is required – we are diverse company with 22+ nationalities.
- Empathy and good communication skills via phone and email.
- Ability to work under pressure during the most active sales seasons.
- Ability to “read between the lines” and identify key pain points of potential customers.
- High self-discipline and ability to balance remote and on-site work.
Desired Skills
- Studies in Business and Engineering are positively valued.
- C2 level in German.
- Previous work experience in Solar PV industry, especially in DACH.
