Dialpad’s Product Engineering organization is responsible for building and maintaining the customer-facing features at scale across all our cloud-native products and services. Millions of users globally leverage our technology daily to communicate effectively and efficiently.
Every engineer on our global engineering team can take ownership of a large portion of the product where they can see immediate results. The Dialpad Core team plays an essential role in building the core features of the Dialpad application and is responsible for enhancing the admin experience for the Dialpad customers. This team collaborates with product managers and essential stakeholders to build standard features that other parts of the organization use.
Your role
We are seeking a talented Full-Stack Engineer who is passionate about building high-quality, scalable web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies. You will work and own significant features end-to-end and tackle technical hurdles. You will work jointly in a cross-functional team, including closely with Product Managers.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain Dialpad's web & desktop applications using modern technologies.
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code using best practices along with unit tests.
- Review peers' code for quality, readability, and adherence to standards.
- Ensure that features are shipped on time and with the highest quality.
- Resolve the issues coming from the QA and the Customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., DevOps, QA, Product, UX) to build and use standard components and practices across Dialpad products.
- Use tools like Git to manage the codebase and collaborate with teams.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
Skills you’ll bring
- 4-6 years of experience in Full-stack software engineering.
- Strong experience with writing high-performance, reusable, and reliable Python code.
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs.
- Experience in modern cloud platforms like GCP or other cloud infrastructures etc.
- Experience in documentation for architectural designs, technical decisions, and best practices.
- Experience in modern frontend frameworks like Vue/React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.
- Experience with databases SQL/NoSQL.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
