Who you are
Our Talent team is committed to ensuring brightwheel has the team in place to enable a high-quality early education for every child. We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our growing Talent team and lead full-cycle recruitment across a variety of business roles.
You will be a trusted thought partner to leaders across brightwheel, diving deep to understand business needs and developing tailored recruitment strategies to fill critical roles. You are an effective communicator who builds trusting relationships and is comfortable advocating for decisions that strengthen our talent pool. You are organized, pay attention to details, and can independently build and execute a consistent, efficient process that brings all stakeholders along. You regularly analyze data to identify opportunity areas and implement solutions. You are passionate about creating an unparalleled candidate experience and building a process that is inclusive, equitable, and enjoyable for every candidate. You are a driven team player, and are comfortable managing a full-cycle process across a mix of roles.

What you’ll do- Lead development and execution of full-cycle recruitment strategies for a variety of business roles
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand hiring needs, develop recruitment strategies, and create feedback loops to refine your approach
- Build strong, diverse pipelines by engaging passive talent and finding creative ways to engage high potential candidates and unlock referrals
- Create and run an efficient, equitable, and thoughtful process that enables brightwheel’s growth while maintaining a high bar for talent
- Conduct interviews, score exercises, and complete reference checks, as appropriate
- Use data to to build and refine recruitment strategies, evaluate pipeline strength, monitor key performance metrics, and stay in sync with hiring managers
- Communicate effectively to keep key stakeholders engaged, facilitate hiring decisions that raise the bar on talent, and persuade top talent to join the brightwheel team
- Create a best-in-class candidate experience that focuses on inclusive recruitment and hiring practices
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve recruiting systems, processes, and approaches, and lead the implementation of solutions
Qualifications, skills, & abilities- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across a variety of roles in a fast-paced environment.
- You quickly build strong relationships and are a trusted thought partner to your hiring managers
- You have effective screening and interview skills and consistently demonstrate sound judgment
- You are analytical and use data to develop, drive, and refine your approach
- You are committed to hiring diverse and inclusive teams, and you build strategies and candidate pipelines that support these efforts
- You have strong communication skills and are able to adeptly navigate sensitive and complex conversations
- You are an adaptable problem-solver who brings tenacity, creativity, and a customer-service mindset
- You take ownership and continuously seek to improve your hiring process and outcomes

$70,000 - $119,000 a year
brightwheel offers a competitive compensation package (base salary, equity and benefits) with a strong emphasis on equity-based compensation (ownership in brightwheel). For cash compensation, brightwheel sets standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies.
