About This Team:
Responsible for managing all aspects of external financial reporting, researching and documenting the application of new accounting standards, oversee coordination of annual audit and quarterly reviews, and conducting research on complex accounting transactions and documenting conclusions.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Manage preparation and coordination of monthly/quarterly/annual internal and external reporting packages
- Manage financial statement audit and coordinate with external audit teams
- Identify, research, and document the Company's technical accounting transactions; work proactively with external auditors to drive timely closure of technical accounting matters
- Serve as a subject matter expert on US GAAP and GAAP reporting requirements
- Conduct technical accounting research on complex transactions and new accounting pronouncements
- Prepare and document accounting policy positions, procedures and control environment and communicate positions to the broader Finance and Accounting teams
- Evaluate business transactions for proper U.S. GAAP accounting treatment, including accounting and disclosure recommendations and prepare technical memorandums for significant and/or non-routine transactions
- Assisting with financial due diligence and integration of M&A transactions as needed
- Review the accounting, monthly journal entries and reconciliations for stock-based compensation, goodwill, investments, and other non-routine transactions.
- Assist with month-end close and financial statement review.
- Ad hoc projects, analysis and reporting as required by management
- Required Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- Excellent management skills and ability to build support across functions
- 6+ years of working experience with at least 4+ years public accounting experience
- Thorough knowledge of U.SGAAP, strong technical writing skills and experience in the implementation and handling of complex U.S. GAAP accounting matters with proven ability to research and clearly articulate and document complex technical accounting issues
- Ability to set and keep deadlines at a fast pace while still maintaining high-quality work
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills with extensive experience managing multiple complex assignments simultaneously
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information
- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner
Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance. NYC generally ranges; $115,382-$144,227 CA generally ranges; $120,399-$150,499 All other locations fall under our General State range; $100,332-$125,415 Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Cloud Software Group and the country where you work.
