Samsara’s People Team is growing and we are looking to add a Senior Compensation Analyst to our rockstar team! This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to deliver impactful solutions to a hyper-growth company.
We are looking for a highly collaborative, technical and results-oriented individual to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional partners on our HR teams to support our compensation programs that attract, recognize and reward top talent.
This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

In this role, you will:
- Maintain job architecture and compensation bands to ensure market competitiveness and scalability and also ensure compensation data integrity of all compensation-related information.
- Provide compensation recommendations and analysis on job evaluation and also be a primary contributor to the annual and mid-year compensation cycle.
- Support ad hoc compensation workstreams in the business; creates various ad hoc reports, analysis, and audits as required.
- Assist in the preparation, maintenance and quality control of all compensation-related data.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, such as Payroll, Sales comp, People Partners, Program, People Operations and Benefits on related workstreams.
- Develop cost models, forecasts, and design recommendations on a variety of global compensation programs.

Minimum requirements for the role:
- 3+ years of professional experience with 2+ in Compensation; preferably in a high-growth tech company or previous compensation consulting experience.
- Excellent oral, written, mathematical, and project management skills with adherence to deadlines.
- Experience handling shifting priorities and multitasking in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Strong bias for action and ability to consistently and accurately drive progress forward until all goals are met.
- Experienced knowledge of Excel, Workday and G-suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively in a team environment with all levels of management in a fast-paced challenging atmosphere.
- Positive energy and a passion for solving complex Compensation challenges with Impeccable discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
