The Benefits Support role will assist in various aspects of benefits administration across different regions, ensuring smooth operations and compliance. This role will support monthly audits, vendor management, compliance activities, open enrollment, content management, and employee support. You will work closely with brokers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure our benefits programs are effectively communicated and managed.

What you’ll do- Benefits Administration and Compliance
- Support the administration of all health and welfare programs globally, including COBRA and HSA
- Conduct regular audits of benefit plans to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist in maintaining compliance with local and federal regulations, including the preparation of necessary documentation.
- Support benefits transitions and enhancements
- Maintain and manage systems for employee benefits, ensuring data integrityHandle benefit-related invoicing, ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Strategic Planning and Development
- Assist in developing strategies for open enrollment periods, including planning, communication, and execution.
- Contribute to the review and update of benefits policies and programs
- Provide ongoing support for global benefits projects, including country benefit assessments and benefits program implementations
- Help design and implement new benefits initiatives that meet employee needs
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management
- Maintain effective relationships with brokers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of benefits services
- Facilitate communication between vendors and employees to resolve issues
- Manage vendor contracts and service agreements, ensuring compliance with terms
- Arrange benefit provider sessions in US, UK and CA
- Communication and Employee Support
- Develop and distribute communication materials to educate employees about their benefits
- Respond to employee inquiries via email or Slack, providing clear and accurate information
- Organize and conduct benefits information sessions and workshops
- Update and maintain content on the internal employee portalAssist with employee benefits support globally
- Data Analysis and ReportingCollect and analyse data related to benefits utilisation and employee satisfactionPrepare reports on benefits program performanceSupport benchmarking studies to compare benefits offerings with industry standardsMonitor key metrics and update dashboards to track progress and identify trends
Success looks like- Providing seamless support for Xero’s benefits programs, ensuring compliance, and improving the employee experience through effective communication and management of benefits.

- Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in a fast-growing company is preferred
- Familiarity with compliance activities, such as 5500/ACA filings.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and supporting open enrollment processes.
