The Global People Operations Specialist serves as the first point of contact for employees, managers, and candidates seeking assistance with people related inquiries and processes. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, employee-centric support while managing employee inquiries efficiently through Service Now. As a foundational role on the Service Delivery Team, the People Operations Specialist handles routine inquiries and tasks, ensuring timely resolution or escalation of complex issues.
The work you’ll do:
Employee Support:
Provide first-line support for employee inquiries related to policies, procedures, job reqs & changes, contracts, People systems.
Handle a high volume of employee requests through Service Now.
Guide employees, managers and People and Culture on self-service tools and resources to resolve common issues.
HR Operations:
Process employee lifecycle transactions, including but not limited to onboarding, job changes & transfers, offboarding, etc n Workday.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with data protection regulations.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of routine documents, such as verification letters,contract updates, & reporting,
Case Management:
Manage employee inquiries in Service Now ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Escalate complex or specialized issues to other COE’s when necessary
Monitor progress of inquiries and provide regular updates to employees or managers as needed.
Compliance and Data Integrity:
Ensure compliance with company policies, local labor laws, and data protection regulations.
Perform data audits and quality checks to maintain accurate and reliable People records.
Support People compliance initiatives, such as document collection or mandatory reporting.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve our processes and enhance the overall employee experience.
Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles, FAQs, and self-service resources.
Participate in training and cross-functional collaboration to expand People knowledge and skills.
The qualifications you need:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
0-2 years of experience in HR, customer service, or shared services environment.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with Workday and ServiceNow.
Experience with case management tools is a plus.
Proficiency in g-suite products.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
