HubSpot's Payroll team has an exciting new role to expand our growing team! We are looking for our 1st Indian Payroll Analyst to support our APAC Region.
In This Role You Will
- Prepare, review, analyse and process payrolls in a timely, accurate manner ensuring compliance within regional regulations as well as company policy.
- Support the preparation of payroll journals, flux analysis, reconciliation of payroll accounts and annual payroll returns
- Strong knowledge of with Statutory Compliance, Labor Laws, Policy & Practice
- Partner closely with People Operations team on monthly payroll processing, ensuring accurate processing of changes to the payroll for APAC
- Work with the Global finance team to ensure any ad hoc payments related to payroll or funding to payroll partners are completed timely and accurately
- Ensuring PF / ESIC, LWF, Gratuity, Bonus & other Compliance are done in time.
- Manage the Payroll Inbox and support our employees in APAC by answering any question along with maintaining our payroll updates and useful information published on Hubspot Wiki
- Liaoning with Govt. Offices Labour Office, Bank, ESI, PF etc
- Manage relationships with external payroll service providers and vendors to ensure seamless payroll operations and ensure timely and accurate filings
- Stay up-to-date with international payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor legislation to ensure compliance in all regions.
- Comply with internal controls, SOX documentation and control testing
- Assist with the onboarding of our new hires including participation in the monthly new hire training
- Experience required in managing a high volume of equity through the payroll and dealing with employee questions
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and enhance efficiency; participate and/or lead system upgrades and improvements related to payroll software and tools.
- Experience with equity processing
- Experience in Global Mobility including internal transfer is a plus
- The ability to quickly adapt to change in new technologies and internal processes
- Have the ability to own and complete complex and sensitive projects as needed and see innovative ways to improve payroll processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience
- Local payroll certification or an equivalent payroll qualification essential
- This position requires a highly-motivated, customer-focused professional with strong sense of ownership who consistently strives to keeps commitments and provide excellent customer service to our employees and key stakeholders
- Highly proficient computer skills with MS Excel experience required, experience with Workday preferable
- Proven team player, hard-working with like-minded colleagues in a very collaborative environment
- Commitment to accuracy, quality & the ability to manage highly confidential/proprietary information
- Excellent English verbal & written communication skills; Demonstrated excellent analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
